APPLICATIONS OF PHOTOCHROMIC PIGMENTS

 Paint : Suitable for use in Surface Coating product such as PMMA paint, ABS Spray Paint, PVC Paint and water based spray paint.

 Ink : Suitable to be printed on various kinds of materials, Such as fabrics, Paper, Synthetic membrane and glass

 Plastic Products : Plastic Injection and extrusion using high color density PE or PMMA Photochromic Masterbatch.

 

USING DOSE:

For solvent-base ink,paint  3-30%  W/W

For water-base ink,paint 3-30% W/W

For plastic 0.2-5% W/W

 

 

HINTS & NOTES

 

  1. For ink base, It is preferable to choose material with PH 5-7. For plastic base, choose those with MI >10. Better  FX PHOTOCHROMIC PIGMENT effect can be achieved at higher MI value.

 

  1. The optical fatigue of FX PHOTOCHROMIC PIGMENT is usually resulted from over-exposure to UV light, Acid, free radicals (single state oxygen) and humidity. It is suggested that UV absorbants and antioxidants be added to improve Photochromics fatigue resistance.

 

  1. Chemical additives, such as HALS, antioxidants, heat stabilizers, UV absorbants, should be carefully chosen and mixed depending on base material type. Otherwise, inappropriate combination may speed up optical fatigue.

 

  1. FX PHOTOCHROMIC PIGMENTS Do not contain any hazards that are harmful to human health. They conform to the regulations of toy safety and food packaging hygiene.
